What is the difference between BYT and BYTF?
BYT (Bellevue Youth Theatre) is the performing arts program run by the City of Bellevue Parks Department. The BYT Foundation (BYTF) is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides financial support to enhance BYT's programs, fund scholarships, and expand access to youth theatre for our community.
Why should I donate?
Local youth theatre programs typically cost between $750–$1,000 per show, per participant. While the City of Bellevue funds overall theatre operations, BYT Foundation provides supplemental funding to create a top-tier, inclusive youth theatre open to our entire community.
Can I give through my company's workplace giving platform?
Yes! Several companies in the Greater Seattle area use Benevity, America's Charities, or other giving platforms. Many even MATCH your donation, which doubles your impact to BYT Foundation.
How do I know if my company has workplace giving?
