On June 4, 2015, Bellevue Youth Theater had the great opportunity to host the King County Council’s Meeting of the Whole – it was an evening focused on the positive effects of the Arts for the youth of our region. BYT was delighted to highlight the new Theater and to serve as the backdrop for an artistic performance by Creative Justice, a briefing on Youth Arts Engagement by 4Culture, and a proposed motion to adopt an Youth Action Plan for the County.
It was a wonderful occasion to engage with Council Members Jane Hague, Joe McDermott, Rod Dembowski, Reagan Dunn, Larry Gossett, Kathy Lambert, Larry Phillips, Dave Upthegrove, and Pete von Reichbauer in our new BYT home.
